Reaching Out To Other States

In Oregon we sometimes get frustrated because we can't directly make a difference in electing Trump in our Blue state.  Fortunately, there are many ways to reach out to swing states during this election.  i will list a few here.  Please let me know if you find other effective ways (ewcdems@gmail.com) and I will add the to the list

Vote Forward - Sending a Vote Forward letter is one of the easiest things you can do to increase turnout. It takes two minutes and one stamp, and meaningfully increases the odds that the recipient will vote. A concrete action you can take, no matter where you live, to get unlikely-to-vote fellow citizens to the polls.

Sister District - Sister District Portland is paired with a couple of races in North Carolina.  This organization not only reaches out to their sister district but also organizes physically distanced social events and conducts research on the efficacy of different outreach methods.  

Turnout 2020​​ -A national phone banking campaign calling inconsistent voters in swing states urging them to get ready to vote by doing such things as requesting an absentee ballot.
